“I recently had Hard Disk problems on my computer that had caused four failures in a 2 week period. After replacing the Hard drive I managed to restore all my files (3.3GB) but I found they were spread over numerous CD's and Zip disks and this turned out to be very time consuming.
I decided to search for a PC Backup package that would simplify things and reduce the angst involved in a computer failure. I searched www.download.com and found five packages that were compatible with Windows XP.
Out of those five packages only ONE performed as promised and finished backing up my data to four CD's. The other four packages would freeze during execution and I would have to reboot my computer to get the software to release control of the CD Drive OR they were just too cumbersome/inflexible to use.
The fifth package was NTI Backup Now Deluxe. Within 4 hours of downloading a trial version I had backup up my 3.3 GB (this included verification of the data which is equally as important as the backup of the data). The wizard was very intuitive and allowed a great deal of flexiblity in the how/when/where/ & whats of my backup session.
Needless to say I immediately purchased a licensed copy for my future use and I recommend the software to anyone looking for peace of mind and ease of use in a backup solution.
